EWM AG publishes updated MIG/ MAG welding dictionary

EWM AG has published its updated EWM AG MIG/MAG welding dictionary, which is available now to download on the EWM website. With this dictionary, Germany’s largest manufacturer of arc welding technology provides a reference work that describes the welding procedure and all necessary materials, auxiliary materials and relevant settings. It also gives the reader information about the differences between the various welding machines, the special features of different materials and the benefits of new welding processes, all laid out using easy-to-understand, concrete application examples.

The MIG/MAG welding dictionary answers questions such as what shielding gases are used and how are they different? Which welding machines and arcs are available? How do I set the parameters correctly? What sort of material transfers are involved with MIG/MAG welding? How do I achieve good penetration characteristics? And consists of 12 chapters split across 70 pages, including many diagrams and tables too. It is suitable for both beginners and experienced welders alike. Sikora ranks among the top 100 of all German medium-sized companies

BREMEN-based Sikora AG has ranked among Germany’s 100 fastest growing medium-sized companies and even improved from place 61 to 18. This

is the result of the study ‘TOP 100 ranking of the medium-sized companies 2020’, which was carried out by the management consultancy Munich Strategy Group. This year again, Sikora is the only company from Bremen that has made it into the ‘TOP 100.’ Dr Christian Frank, CEO of Sikora, said: “I am delighted that we are among the ‘TOP 100’ again this year. The award once again shows that we belong to the elite of the German medium- sized companies.
