BPF Pipes Group releases butt fusion jointing guide

The BPF Pipes Group is a member of the European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association (TEPPFA) and has customised the guidance prepared by TEPPFA to UK applications.

THE BPF Pipes Group has published a new guide for engineers and specifiers on butt fusion jointing of polyethylene pressure pipes. US approves IPSCO Tubulars acquisition PAO TMK, a global manufacturer and supplier of steel pipes for the oil and gas industry, has announced that the US Department of Justice (DOJ) has closed its investigation into Tenaris’ proposed acquisition of IPSCO Tubulars, Inc from PAO TMK. The proposed transaction was en- tered into on 22 March, 2019 pursuant to a Stock Purchase Agreement between PAO TMK, one of the world’s leading producers of tubular products for the oil and gas industry, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tenaris, an international PAO TMK www.tmk-group.com

producer of seamless and welded pipe. TMK expects to be able to consummate the transaction shortly once the final paperwork is complete.
