Also on show will be new LSV ProSpeed length and speed gauges for down-to-zero speed measure- ment; advanced KW fault detectors with new Visu-Touch local display unit; Rayex D series dynamic X-ray measuring and control systems for CV lines; the Profilemaster series for non- contact profile and shape measure- ment, combining laser and CCD technology; and the new DC type spark tester designed for space-restricted applications.

product and process performance. The WST 2006FV has a compact design, fitting into almost any extrusion line, and a user-friendly product setting routine to simplify entering new products. Other technology to be presented on the company’s stand will include software and interface solutions fulfilling Industry 4.0 requirements; new models of ODAC series diameter gauges with special beam geometry, fault detection function and high scan rate; and the advanced ODEX concentricity and diameter gauge for wire extrusion, with new local display and integrated web server capability.

ZUMBACH will use tube and wire 2020 to showcase the latest advanced non- contact measuring technologies for dimensional measurements of all type of tube, pipe and wire. The new Rayex S XT will be in the spotlight, presenting a simple system to simultaneously measure wall thickness, eccentricity and diameter. The system features data collection, process control and visualisation capabilities, with interface options for IoT applications. Zumbach will also showcase the new WST 2006FV wire preheater, which is designed to consistently preheat the wire conductor in extrusion lines for the best

side of the machine rather than at the rear. This safer position reduces the risk of incidents in narrow aisles, allows for full visibility of the load, the forks and the surroundings. Exhibits will also include models from Combilift’s original multidirectional C-Series. These are robust trucks, which work both inside and out and on uneven terrain in all weathers. They also offer sideways travel, stability and safe manoeuvring and recently, more electric powered models have been added to the range such as the 8,000kg capacity C8000ET.

considered to ensure a higher level of safety where other members of the workforce are present compared to ride-on forklifts, particularly in busy manufacturing facilities.” Combilift’s products are exported to over 85 countries, and also ensure the very safe handling of long and bulky products, palletised goods, containers and oversized loads. The company’s pedestrian range includes counterbalance stackers, multidirectional reach stackers and powered pallet trucks. These all feature Combilift’s patented multi-position tiller arm which can be turned to the left or right to position the rear drive wheel, allowing the operator to remain at the

FORKLIFT manufacturer Combilift will be using its time at Tube 2020 to show exhibition visitors how to make better use of their storage space, speed up handling procedures and boost productivity. The company’s customised product range includes multidirectional forklifts and side loaders, narrow aisle articulated trucks, a number of pedestrian operated models as well as straddle carriers, which can move loads weighing up to 100 tonnes. Combilift said: “The exhibits at this year’s show reflect our ability to provide efficient solutions for the many and varied requirements of the tube and pipe sector. Pedestrian trucks are an increasingly popular option as they are
