HANDLING, BUNDLING, PACKAGING & LOGISTICS

Tube handling has greater importance than is generally realised. It is a major element in the interlocking system of plant logistics. At the point at which the minimally processed material has become a valuable, saleable product, handling – in particular bundling, with its imperative for cleanliness in compliance with environmental regulations – comes to the fore. In an age of semi-automated and fully automated production, the handling operation has surrendered none of its original hands-on responsibility for ensuring that a perfectly executed order of tubing makes it safely into the hands of the satisfied customer.
