In-line welded tube quality measurement, made easy with Profilemaster from Zumbach

The long-proven Profilemaster user interface is user friendly – new profiles can be added just by using DXF drawings or pre-made templates and all important measurement points can be defined. The clear display reveals all relevant information about the product and process at a glance and helps to optimise production efficiency and profitably. Zumbach aims to enable quick and easy adjustment of the rolls that can be seen live in the Profilemaster display. Any measurable deviation or defect is shown in real time especially in the welding area. A quicker start of the line and the archived production data are huge benefits for customers that have already chosen Zumbach solutions for their lines.

ZUMBACH Electronic, a manufacturer of non-contact measuring technologies for the wire and tube industry, is consoli- dating the established Profilemaster measurement system range, which has multiple successful installations in the welded tube industry. The Profilemaster solutions are technological advancements and offer a good measuring frequency, different measuring field sizes and high precision. The proven light section measurement principle used in Profilemaster enables a fast and complete acquisition of the entire product contour with 4 up to 6 camera/ laser modules. Product dimensions from 2mm (.02") up to 150mm (5.90") are covered in different measuring field sizes.
