Addition Manufacturing Technologies announces management changes

Our staff members manning the stand did a wonderful job,” he added. “The good effect we have seen is very much a team effort.” The EFD Induction team also made efforts to visit existing customers and prospective new clients in the wire exhibition. This resulted in some very good leads, which will be followed up by the sales team. EFD Induction has to date installed thousands of heating solutions for a wide range of industrial applications around the world – bringing the benefits of induction technology to many compa- nies. ADDITION Manufacturing Technologies is restructuring its global management team in order to more efficiently manage the business and drive global growth. Mark deMeza has been promoted to managing director Europe with overall responsibility for all aspects of the company’s European business. Mr deMeza joined Addition as group CFO in September 2016 and has made an important contribution to the financial management of the business. Additionally, he is now general manager of the Wuxi, China, operations, and will also continue as the Addition group CFO. Philip Aspinall has been appointed as technical director. Mr Aspinall

Successful trade fair for EFD Induction WITH a stand manned by a dozen staff members, EFD Induction was well- prepared for the many visitors at the world’s biggest trade fair for the tube and wire industries. The company returned home with many new customer contacts and business prospects. Dimitar Milenkov, managing director of Bulgarian steel manufacturer HUS Ltd, praised EFD Induction for its after-sales service. Many other existing customers came to share plans for new purchases and there has been a recent surge in sales for EFD Induction tube and pipe welders, with 2018 resulting in multiple sales records being broken.

“I could not have been more pleased with the exhibition,” said global sales director for tube and pipe, Peter Runeborg. “It was particularly nice for us that so many existing customers stopped by to express how pleased they were with the equipment we had delivered, especially in relation to uptime and footprint.”

The increased activity in the tube and wire industries was evident at the 2018 Tube and wire fairs in Düsseldorf: with more than 71,500 trade visitors from 134 countries the fairs have broken all previous records this year. “From the doors opened in themorning

until closing time, the EFD Induction stand was packed with visitors,” said Mr Runeborg. “Some sought us out deliberately, others were drawn to the Weldac 1.1 MW single cabinet tube welder on display, and countless passers-by stopped to watch the live demonstrations of induction heating.” There were visitors from more than thirty different
