Bystronic acquires tube machining equipment manufacturer

In the months since the partnership agreement was instigated, positive feedback from customers has shown that there is a strong demand in many markets for even closer collaboration between the companies. For the time being, TTM Laser will continue as a brand and will be known as a member of Bystronic. Fiorenzo Castellini, the current CEO of TTM Laser, will retire and hand over responsibility to the remaining management team. Bystronic CEO Alex Waser com- mented, “With the fusion of Bystronic and TTM Laser, our customers are gaining access to a unique range of technologies and innovations for their sheet metal processing requirements from a single source. TTM Laser’s know-how and technology portfolio ideally complement Bystronic’s existing products with world-class systems for tube and profile processing. The goals of the takeover are to jointly push forward innovative, versatile manufacturing solutions and to provide an enhanced range of services.”

A highlight at any show is when customers place orders. As a testimony to Seuthe’s innovative technology a customer just did that and placed an order for two tube welding lines. Ingenia, the newest member of the Asmag Group, also had its debut at Tube. Known for its material handling automation, crane technology and pre- treatment expertise, Ingenia had a tremendous success at the show.

ASMAG Group participated at this year’s Tube and wire Düsseldorf show with booths in both sections of the trade fair. With a steady stream of show attendees Asmag enjoyed a busy event over the five days. Agreat number of international visitors came with serious interest and active projects.
