Applied technology operation inaugurated at new UK manufacturing facility

TRELLEBORG’S applied technologies operation has inaugurated its new purpose-built facility in Retford, UK. The facility will be a centre of excellence for the company’s diversified polyurethane component manufacturing, bringing together experience, innovation and technology under one roof. Trelleborg Group CFO Ulf Berghult and Councillor Jim Anderson of Bassetlaw District Council took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the facility. Cllr Anderson commented, “The council’s regeneration and invest- ment team have worked closely with Trelleborg prior to and during the plan- ning stages to ensure that this centre of excellence is based in Bassetlaw and, as industry leaders in a number of differ- ent fields, including polyurethane manu- facturing, we wish Trelleborg continued success.”
