Tube and profile processing NOT all tube work pieces have to be processed within a tolerance range of 0.01mm. Commercially available tubes and profiles have several tolerance deviations. These are dimensional deviations of cross section profiles, form errors of cross section, and bending or torsion deviations over the profile longitudinal axis. By clamping directly in the working area and using the grab- through principle, these deviations are compensated partly. Drilling units that are orthogonal to the tube longitudinal axes can be swivelled up to 60° to make diagonal drillings.
