An increasing number of companies globally are relying on machines from framag and taking advantage of its sawing expertise. One of these is SMS group GmbH in the German town of Witten. The mechanical engineering company recently ordered two type KKS 1430 carbide billet sawing machines. The framag machines are part of a major project for the production of railway wheels. The technology from Austria is ultimately destined for India – the final customer (Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited) is a leading steel manufacturer.
