each use results in a longer life span, which in turn reduces the cost per cut. As an optional accessory for servicing the Vmax blade in house, Gebr Lennartz GmbH & Co KG can offer a Mumtec circular run-out, axial run-out and testing machine.

tangentially screwed and resistant to high cutting forces. The Vmax blade, which is available up to a diameter of 2,500mm, and suitable for all high performance- sawing machines, means that due to a fast on-site changing of carbide tips, the customer does not require the usual large saw blade inventory as blades can be serviced in house. Furthermore, due to the individual coating of the teeth,

GEBR Lennartz GmbH & Co KG, a manufacturer and supplier of carbide- tippedcircular sawblades, haspresented an alternative to the conventional TCT carbide-tipped saw blade. Linsinger celebrates successful sales in 2019 LAST year milling and sawing technol- ogy company Linsinger successfully increased its number of high-perfor- mance circular saws for seamless tube production. Brazil, China, Russia and India are successfully using more than 170 Linsinger high-performance circular saws.

for Linsinger cold circular saws – Linsinger provides customers with a productive package, while eliminating the need for costly blade resharpening infrastructure. Lincut saw blades, which have been available for more than ten years, are currently enjoying a surge of enthusiasm from satisfied customers.” In seamless tube production the Linsinger sawing portfolio includes billet circular sawing machines for the cold area, tube layer circular sawing machines for the hot area and also pipe cutting machines for coupling production or in the finishing area. The product portfolio is rounded off with Multi-Cut pipe cutting machines, where three small thin-cutting saw blades are rotated around the pipe in a 120° offset arrangement and the pipe is rapidly cut to the desired section length in a circular cut-off movement. For example, on a high grade steel seamless tube of Ø406mm OD and wall thickness of 16.8mm, the cutting time is just 22 seconds.

Michael Steinkogler, head of sales, said: “It’s the combined package which includes both the high performance cold circular saw and the key consumable – the saw blade. By using the Lincut saw blade technology – which was developed and manufactured in-house exclusively

In the first eight months alone, ten units of high-performance circular saws for seamless tube plants were sold and now, some of the world’s largest and most advanced seamless tube manufacturers in the USA, Argentina,
