Based on our CNC technique we recently invented our latest rotating tool lathe. This is a major innovation because it can also complete the CNC pipe threading of the outer and inner diameters of the pipe end because the CNC machine has radial and axial feeding on the chuck. Using the CNC the user can easily program the shape and dimensions of the thread and then, by filling in some parameters such as pipe diameter, wall thickness, kind of thread, material and so on, the operator can immediately start the threading process. When it comes to our rotating tool lathes the workpiece is always clamped in a prismatic clamping set and the chuck with the cutting inserts then does its job of accurately and efficiently machining the end of the workpiece. n Could you tell us about which markets your serve around the world? The companies that use our machines tend to be shipyards, offshore construction, petrochemical plant construction, pipeline construction, oil and gas piping companies and those performing pipe spool fabrication. n What does your company specialise in and why is it the best at what it does? Please tell us briefly about your main products. Copier Bevel Machines is a manufacturer of stationary rotating tool lathes. The company is focusing on metal pipe end machining and other machinery for metal pipe fabrication. Most of the company’s activities involve pipe bevelling, pipe cutting, pipe end machining and pipe spool welding. As well as designing stand-alone machines, Copier Bevel Machines offers fully automated production lines and, working closely with the end customer, we advise and offer automation and machinery for pipe spool shops. Most of our customers tend to be shipyards or pipe spool fabrication shops around the globe. n Could you tell us about some of the recent projects and innovations you have been working on at Copier Bevel Machines?
