Employees from around the world get involved in Norma help day

The staff were happy to lend a hand on a number of projects

In Serbia, Norma employees renovated a city playground and planted trees; employees in Qingdao, China, and Japan, removed rubbish from roads and by the sea; and at the Norma Group site in Malaysia, the participants assisted in a soup kitchen for needy people.

“Norma help day is an integral part of our corporate responsibility activities. Many of our employees are taking advantage of the opportunity to make a positive contribution in the communities surrounding our sites,” said Dr Michael Schneider, member of Norma Group’s management board. “On our annual Norma help day, we put our corporate responsibility into practice by supporting social projects and facilities.”

NORMA Group, a specialist in engineered joining technology, held its annual Norma help day for the fifth time toward the end of last year. The event took place at Norma’s sites all over the world, including the company’s headquarters in Maintal, Germany, where employees supported the Albert Schweitzer Kinderdorf eV in Hanau by painting, cleaning up and doing yard work.
