As Azak Takım Teknolojileri Inc we intend to work in partnership with our customers by approaching engineering services from their point of view and making the product as practical and efficient to use as possible. n What kind of sectors do you serve? We offer services to all kind of sectors of the engineering industry. Any industry where the shaping and cutting of tube and pipe and solid materials are used we can cater for – automotive, furniture, construction, shipbuilding, heavy industry, food, textile and even paper. In addition to material supply services we have a resharpening service, coating and technical support services available. n Can you give us information about your markets? Do you have any plan to export? Turkey is one of the leading countries in the world in tube and pipe manufacturing and steel manufacturing. The country has invested in advanced technology and built mass production capabilities for making welded pipe. Manufacturing of these products is increasing as is the need for other similar consumables. This creates a large market demand for these products. One of them is definitely HSS circular saw blades. Acceptance of our brand in the tube and pipe manufacturing industry in Turkey will be an important first step towards the world market. However, export is our main target – we are pursuing sectoral developments around the world and evaluating opportunities. We have received positive feedback from our customers at international fairs in which we have participated.

n What can your customers gain if they choose your company in terms of productivity, cost and so on? As a new producer we are sure that our technologically advanced and sustainable approach will bring a different dynamism to the world market – shorter delivery times and good price but also high quality performance. At the moment we experience the situations in which the HSS circular saw blade sector has a long-term delivery time of often up to three to four months. This causes difficult situations for the end users. With more than 33 years of experience as Azak Tool Inc we know the best ways to meet the needs of manufacturers in Turkey and around the world. So we are preparing the raw material management for fast turnaround. We also plan to continue to develop the process by working directly with our customers. The testing unit, which will be built in our company laboratory – and is not available to any other manufacturer – will allow us to observe and develop our saw blades using superior technology and offering improved cutting possibilities. This is an important step in the research and development process for both our company and the cutting tools industry as a whole. n Anything else to add? We base everything we do on the principle of ‘people first’ and being experienced and passionate about the work that we do, so we aim to offer a high-quality service to the world market and continue to learn and research the best processes.
