The automatic system applies an accurate layer of rust preventative oil (RPO) on the surface of the product just prior to the flying cut-off. The control is proportionally adjusted to mill speed ensuring that the same constant volume of oil is maintained regardless of mill speed variation. Oil mist and overspray is collected, recycled and re-used ensuring no waste and an efficient cost-effective result as well as reduced impact on the environment. Dietronic designs and manufactures a wide range of lubrication systems for tube and pipe production and other metal stamping and punching applications.

DIETRONIC Srl, a manufacturer of precision lubrication systems, has delivered seven new Antirust systems to pipe and tube producers in the South American continent. The units were delivered to customers in Brazil, Guatemala, Peru and Chile with a mixture of repeat orders and new installations where the producer needed to solve a corrosion problem. The sales were made through Dietronic’s regional sales agent, Metal Form Solutions (MFS) located in Santiago, Chile. MFS specialises in solutions for steel processing applications and is headed up by Guillermo Gil Lopez. Mr Lopez said: “Our customers have come to realise and understand that corrosion protection is very important to protect products during storage and transportation.
