One stop for all maintenance of casting lines The new UPCAST ® UPtime main- tenance software brings clarity to the maintenance of casting lines and transfers excel tables into history. It is easy to use and simply adds to the reliability of the Upcast upward casting lines. All data about the maintenance can be found in one application listing, showing all the required measures in chronological order. For superiors, there is a desk version of the UPCASTUPtime software, which is a little more versatile than the mobile application. The program is compatible with all the new Upcast upward casting lines and with almost all the old ones, too. The time spent for the development will certainly reward the development team as well as Upcast customers over the course of time. It has always been the priority of Upcast to take care of its customers after the commissioning of the casting line, the company added. Good maintenance indicates high quality and with the new SW it is possible to collect the maintenance history of the line and thus ease the quality control. In the program the user can, for example, add repetitive measurements in certain cycles. It allows for comments or attachments, which will be forwarded to the superior and the application follows the user easily on the mobile at work.
