COPIER Bevelmachines has expanded its portfolio with a CNC metal pipe finishing machine that features both radial and axial feeding. Thanks to the feeding system, tougher materials such as stainless steel, Duplex or Super Duplex can easily be machined because it can cut the metal from the outside down to inside, step by step. The user can therefore machine heavy wall pipes more easily. The machine stands out because it is capable of both outside and inside machining of the pipe – for example bevelling, facing, squaring, deburring, tapering and threading. All of these preparations are done without manually changing the tools in the chuck for a different angle or shape. The metal pipe is clamped, and the chuck with the cutting bits then prepares all of the required angles and shapes, controlled by the CNC system. The CNC
