Sikora expands regional US office in Peachtree City Sikora International Corp, the regional US office of German-based Sikora AG, has expanded into new offices in Peachtree City, GA. The company has enlarged its offices to make further progress in North and South America’s growing markets for measuring and control equipment for the cable, tube and plastics industries. Sikora International is the support and sales centre for all Sikora activities within North and South America, and carries a full range of spare parts for all installed equipment within the Americas. The new facility has allowed for a large expansion within the service department, warehouse and demonstration areas. The worldwide increased demand for products and support was the decisive factor for Sikora International to move into an expanded office structure at its Peachtree City address. The adjacent office has been developed into new sales and administration offices, a new technical laboratory and largely expanded warehousing facilities. The technical laboratory – which supports repairs, telephone support and all technical support requirements for the region – has grown over four times its original office size. The total office size is now almost double the size of the original facility with a total of 4,500ft 2 in office and warehouse space. “We see our expansion as another key milestone indicative of the steady and consistent growth of our company,” says Mr Jeffrey Swinchatt, president of Sikora International. Sikora is continually exploring and expanding into new markets. The company has not only expanded its Peachtree City operation, but also offices in China and Brazil. In 2007, Sikora AG completed the construction of a third building at its Bremen, Germany facility. Tube Products of India launches facility in China

Tube Products of India has established a new company in China located in Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province. The new company, named M/s Tubular Precision Products (Suzhou) Company Ltd (TPP), will be involved in the manufacture of precision cold drawn and welded steel tubes. The plant will have a capacity of 12,000t per annum in the first phase. Part of the US$2.2 billion Murugappa Group, Tube Products of India was established in 1955 and is the largest manufacturer of precision welded steel tubes in India.

(ERW) tubes with an outer diameter of 25.4mm to 101.6mm and a wall thickness of 1-6mm. The company’s range of cold drawn welded (CDW) tubes has an outer diameter of 15mm to 88.90mm and wall thickness of 0.80mm to 5mm. The company produces tubes that comply with stringent international standards including ASTM, BS, DIN, JIS, and other specific standards. The plant has been certified to ISO 9001 standards since April 2008.
