THE SOLUTION TO TUBE CORROSION transfluid mandrel tube bending machine THE new transfluid DB 2060 CNC RL mandrel bending machine is more powerful, flexible, accurate and energy efficient. Increasing in size also means boosting performance and capacity, making it possible to handle larger tasks, achieve higher production volumes and automate more complex processes. The requirements for tube geometries are becoming more complex, tube diameters are larger and high production speeds are an important factor to be able to produce economically. transfluid is following the trend and has expanded its range of mandrel bending machines with rotating bending heads. With the new DB 2060-CNC-R/L t bend CNC mandrel bending machine, the tube bending machine manufacturer is launching a powerhouse. The new CNC-controlled bending machines can bend steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metal tubes as round or profile tubes with diameter 6 to 70mm and with tube lengths of over 6m. The bending head can be positioned horizontally and vertically, including a rotation axis to change the bending direction. These electrically driven bending machines are designed to produce large quantities, with efficient energy consumption. The 12 electric axes can be programmed synchronously to achieve optimal cycle times. The tools for multi-plane bending

with automatically tool change to make it possible to produce different radii and the most complex geometries. As the largest machine in this series, bends can be implemented for large tube diameters. Two bending heads face each other vertically and can be equipped with up to three different tool sets per side. If these do have to be replaced, special tool changing systems ensure fast changeover times. Extensive accessory options are offered, such as segment clamps for machining tubes with pre-formed tube ends, boosting for free-form machining or alignment of tubes by sensors. All are adapted to the machine and can be configured to customer requirements as a stand-alone machine with interfaces or fully automatable, as part of a complete tube processing cell.
