The bending process is carried out by a servo-electrically driven and CNC-controlled t bend bending machine optimised for a small footprint. Synchronously programmable electric axes enable optimum cycle times. The 360° rotatable bending head not only offers the advantage of being able to bend tubes both left and right, it can also be equipped with up to three bending tools per side. This increases flexibility and shortens setup times enormously. Thanks to the rotation option, the tubes can be deposited on a conveyor belt in a controlled manner after the bending process and discharged. In the second basic version, the step feeder can be exchanged with a coil feeder or combined with it in the third. The straightening and calibration unit then required is placed in front of the forming unit just like the separating unit. Transfluid’s chipless orbital t cut cutting systems ensure precise cutting results at high speed. These three variations form the basis of the compact production cell concept. Comparable to a car, which as a basic model covers just about all requirements, but offers the possibility to further expand the owner’s wishes with special equipment, this is also intended for the compact cells from transfluid. The new cells can be expanded as required using the transfluid machine portfolio. All components have been tried and tested thousands of times and are perfectly matched down to the last detail. This increases reliability, boosts process speed and minimises overall maintenance and coordination effort. Reliable and economical: as a technology expert, transluid aims to offer quality and performance at a fair price. Plug and produce: preconfigured for immediate commissioning in the individual production environments, they can be put into operation extremely quickly. Customers benefit from the simplified assembly of the pre-assembled components. Digitised processes: The interaction is controlled by the powerful, in-house software t project. Its main advantage is that all machines integrated in the process can be controlled by using a single software platform. transfluid has succeeded in placing a wide variety of tube processing components in the smallest possible area. To offer a basic model that includes many basic functions and covers a high spectrum of machining and production processes. In the basic model, feeding is performed by a step feeder whose magazine can hold large quantities of tube material. The length of the tubes to be processed starts at 1" and is possible up to 40" in the basic version. The step feeder brings the workpiece into the process and it reaches the first station, the forming machine. This t form combination machine combines the advantages of axial and rolling tube processing in one system. Up to eight axial forming stages as well as rolling forming – cutting – re-trimming – thread rolling are possible. Following this, a proven top-floor handling system takes over. It not only has the advantage that its compactness fits perfectly into this cell concept, but also offers the possibility of rotating the tube, thus enabling processing of both sides of the tube. A must for virtually all customer requirements and currently unique.
