New Antirust 12 system for North American tube mill project

refinement and enhancements to the Antirust 12 One frame. A motorised wheel/rail system allows for retraction of the complete system out of the mill for maintenance or operational needs. This motorised drive can also be interlocked with the tube mill to permit automatic removal, for example during a size changeover. In addition the new system has spray unit guards that open and close automatically according to the product size being produced. DIETRONIC Srl has delivered its latest Antirust 12 ‘One frame’ system for a new pipe mill project in North America. Antirust 12 is capable of applying rust prevention oil to round pipes from 50.8mm to 270mm diameter as well as equivalent squares and rectangles. Dietronic’s One frame systems incorporate all of the major Antirust system components such as spray unit, mist extraction and control panel into a robust steel frame that is easily dropped into the space between the last sizing stand and flying cut-off. The original One frame concept was actually introduced several years ago to meet the needs of OEM mill manufacturers that wanted a simple and neat integration of a rust prevention system into their line layout. With Dietronic’s strong focus of continuous technology improvement, the new design has led to major
