Van Leeuwen to acquire Benteler Distribution THE Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group has entered into an agreement to acquire Benteler Distribution, a division of Benteler International AG with an annual turnover of around €750mn (2018). This strategic acquisition will provide Van Leeuwen with access to additional key markets in Europe, and will contribute to improving its position as a distributor of pipe and tube materials in Europe. transaction is expected during the last quarter of this year.

Exhibitor registration open for next year’s Valve World Expo EXHIBITOR invitations have been sent out and interested companies can now register as exhibitors at the Valve World Expo for industrial valves and fittings. The 12 th conference and exhibition for industrial valves and fittings will be held from 1 to 3 December 2020 in Halls 1, 3 and 4 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre in Germany. Around 700 companies are expected to occupy a total area of 19,000m 2 . For the first time, the new Hall 1 will be part of the Valve World Expo. A multifunctional exhibition space spanning 12,027m 2 and catering to as many as 10,000 people, Hall 1 will provide new presentation possibilities for exhibitors. More space also means more growth potential: companies can book larger, more versatile and digitally equipped exhibition stands in order to optimally present themselves and their product portfolios. The accompanying Valve World Conference will take place in the new Hall 1 while the Valve World Forum, managed by KCI, will be held in the neighbouring Hall 3. An innovation plaza is planned where young companies and start-ups can introduce themselves.
