Under the title Mebaconnect, Meba bundles its digitisation activites and its smart sawing concepts. These include intelligent data transfer and a material database that automatically detects cutting parameters based on material measurements and form, as well as on the working material used. Mebaconnect’s tele-service has access to all machine conditions and components and provides an efficient worldwide online diagnostic service. MEBA’S Mebaeco 335 DGA-1000 automatic double-bevelling unit for series cuts has been expanded with new features and with a controller with revised function and design. Mebaeco metal bandsaws are based on a ‘building-set system’ that has undergone constant technical development, and forms the platform on which customers can put together individual machines for their sawing goals. The machines range from the simple semi-automatic straight cut machine to the patented double- bevelling sawing system. The Mebaeco 335 DGA-1000 has features such as a future-orientated electric sawing feed with ball screw and a patented double-bevelling system, which ensures an absolutely right-angled tensioning of the material. These meet the requirements for higher flexibility and faster throughput in production while keeping good cut quality. With a frequency-regulated AC drive, the saw-band speed can be adjusted continuously between 15 and 150m/min. The use of recirculating ball-bearing guides throughout makes the automatic sawing units smooth and resilient.
