Tube India and Metallurgy India 2018 DURING times of fundamental global, economic and political change it is more important than ever to expand worldwide technical competencies in order to compete internationally.
The Indian trade fair trio wire India, Tube India and Metallurgy India will aim to do just that for the seventh time from 27 to 29 November 2018. In cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf India, Messe Düsseldorf has hosted these three leading trade fairs in India successfully for many years. More than 400 exhibitors from 25 countries have registered for the event so far. As well as many Indian exhibitors and companies from neighbouring countries there are exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Austria, the USA and China. Around 12,000 international trade visitors are expected to attend. Exhibitors from throughout the world will be showing the latest machinery and equipment, state-of-the-art technology and services from the fields of wire and cable making, tube production, tube processing and metallurgy at the Mumbai Convention and Exhibition Centre. Shihang has adopted strict quality control for the chemical composition and mechanical property of copper nickel pipes.
By hiring a new workforce, Shihang can now produce seam welded cunifer pipes with an outer diameter of over 368mm. This is part of Shihang’s expansion plan to join the few companies that manufacture these pipes with a maximum weight of 5,000 kg. Currently, Shihang can produce between 70 and 100 t of copper-nickel pipes per month. It has also improved the DN 125 and DN 150 copper nickel pipe manufacturing efficiency, with 50 pieces (6m long) every day. With the new QC team, which Mr Wen will be part of, Shihang has improved on copper nickel pipe tolerance thickness from ±10 per cent to ±5 per cent. This comes after Shihang upgraded the
