Advances in measuring & marking technology

Measuring and marking are not a worry in a state-of- the-art tube and pipe mill for the excellent reason that they are an unremitting concern. All cut lengths must be as specified, in every dimension. Identification is accurate, legible, accessible and – since the final destination may be at a considerable distance from the plant – permanised to the item.

If you cannot be certain of what you have, does it matter that you have it? This is not a nonsense question – not to those charged with the measurement and marking of tube and pipe. They know that guesswork has no place in production. They are committed to ensuring that it is likewise foreign to the customer.
