Permanent protective coating for tube and pipe applications
The company’s Quakercoat ® 024 is a 100 per cent solids UV curable protective coating. Intended to provide corrosion protection on metal tube and pipe surfaces composed of steel or galvanised steel, the coating provides benefits including instant curing at low energy, low smell, and a low viscosity for easier sprayability at lower temperature,
bringing additional savings on energy consumption. Complementary process fluid products can be integrated throughout the entire tube and pipe making process.
QUAKER Chemical, a fluid solutions supplier for tube and pipe applications, offers coatings for the back end of the manufacturing process. The coatings series include environmentally friendly solvent based coatings, fast drying, low VOC, water-based coatings, and UV coatings that can be customised to meet increasing performance demands.
