We can definitely consider HSS, TCT, friction circular saws and bi-metal saw blades are as one of these products. The acceptance of our brand by the important end users in the pipe and profile manufacturing sector in Turkey was an important first step towards the world market. By the help of our marketing activities, which we have done for the foreign markets , we are exporting 70 per cent of our production. We have already become a major player in some key export markets. n What can your customers gain in terms of efficiency savings? As a new manufacturer, we are confident that our technologically advanced and sustainable approach will bring a different dynamism to the current world market. The fact that we offer shorter delivery times, competitive prices and high performance products are the most important factors in the formation of this thought. We are currently witnessing situations that the HSS circular saw industry has long delivery times, often up to three to four months. This causes difficult situations for end users.

their intended use. As in all other tool steels, heat treatment and design must be applied correctly in order to obtain the expected properties in high speed steels. Many companies that produce circular saw blades purchase the raw material directly as semi-finished products and then complete the process by going through the toothing and coating processes in their own facilities. We carry out this process by performing all operations such as heat treatment, tempering, honing, grinding, threading and coating of the raw material that we receive as an unprocessed product in our own integrated production facility. In the future, we aim to continue to invest in the production of other more advanced cutting tool product groups in order to realise a similar perspective. Besides HSS saw blades, with the aim of achieving our vision in the cutting tool market, we started production of TCT saw blades for metal and aluminium cutting, log saw blades and various purpose circular knives, friction saw blades, saw bodies for different applications such as marble, concrete and metal cutting. We added bi-metal band saw blades as the latest member of Azak product range in 2022. n What types of industries do you serve? We offer services to all sectors of the industry. All sectors where solid materials are shaped and cut are our field of work. In this context, we can provide products and services in sectors such as pipe and profile production, automotive industry, furniture production, construction industry, shelf production, scaffolding production, shipbuilding industry, heavy industry, food industry, textile industry and paper cutting industry. In addition to material supply services, we have resharpening, coating and technical support services. When the Turkish and world markets for HSS circular saws are examined, the low number of suppliers and the absence of a domestic manufacturer in Turkey both create a negative situation in terms of the delivery time of these products and create a monopolisation environment in terms of price competition. Turkey is recognised as one of the world’s leading countries in pipe and profile manufacturing and steel manufacturing fields. In this regard, serious investments were made in advanced technologies for the production of welded pipes and mass production capabilities were significantly improved. As the manufacturing capacity of these products increases, the need for consumables used in the manufacture of the products also increases and this creates a large market demand for these and similar materials. n Can you give us information about your markets? Do you have a plan for export markets?
