detection, thickness measurement, OD- ID and ovalisation. The ultrasonic and eddy current rotating heads can be combined with other CMS equipment such as magnetising units, rotating systems and support coils, and can be installed together in a strong control bench including centring devices. Probus supervision software collects information provided by NDT equipment, and allows the display of combined signals (UT/ET) and the creation of inspection reports that can be used as control evidence for quality services and customers. Data stored can be recalled for analysis and quality treatment. All the systems meet quality standards side to cut or recut hydroformed tubes. Both cutting and end forming operations can be combined on one machine. EMS tube end forming and cutting machinesarereputedfortheirrobustness and reliability acknowledged by the top European industry. They are designed in accordance with their clientele’s specifications. EMS exclusively makes use of the highest quality hydraulic and electrical components. EMS will participate to Metalloobrabotka exhibition for the tenth time. This year, the company is particularly proud to present its latest developments as push bending, various operation combinations as for example

CONTRÔLE Mesure Systèmes designs, develops and manufactures a complete range of NDT products using eddy current and ultrasonic testing methods, including high performance instruments and systems, probes and transducers, accessories and complete turnkey machines. The company’s RotoETscan eddy current rotating heads for tubes and bars are designed for surface, subsurface and punctual flaws detection, in the diameter range 1 to 220mm. RotoUTscan ultrasonic rotating heads can inspect tubes in stainless steel, titanium, zirconium or carbon steel, in diameters from 6 to 250mm, for longitudinal and transversal defect EMS Alsace France, located in the Strasburg vicinity, designs and builds special tube end forming and cutting machines. EMS will satisfy any tube and forming problems as well in the car, heating and sanitary industries as any other kind of tube-using industries. EMS develops the best means of satisfying the specific production requirements of its customers. EMS calls on the following techniques: extrusion, expanding, reduction, pushing, segment head and ram forming with its own tooling development. EMS cutting machines are essentially used to recut bent tubes of the one side, for example: exhaust and of the other

such as API, ASTM and DIN, and can be used either on- or off-line. Contrôle Mesure Systèmes is located in the French pavilion. Contrôle Mesure Systèmes – France Fax: +33 385 94 14 15 Email: contactcms@cmseddyscan.com Website: www.cmseddyscan.com

Complete test lines for round tubes THE first two complete test lines for round tube engineered and manufactured by Olimpia 80 were completed and checked in the company’s plant in November 2012, before delivery to the final customer. Tube can be tested with different systems: eddy current test, ultrasonic test, pneumatic test or hydraulic test. The complete lines start with two TIG tube mills for titanium material, to produce round tube in a range from 12 to 60.3mm OD, and from 0.4 to 2.5mm thickness. Each line can test 100 per cent of the tube, according to international standards, to a maximum tube length of 26m. Both testing lines are composed of a tube loading device consisting of a driven rollway with rolls covered with Vulcolan and with pneumatic arms, for feeding tube into a de-burring device, to automatically remove inside and outside burr.
