MIYACHI Europe, a supplier of laser and resistance welding systems and laser marking products, showcased its solutions at Salon Industrie 2013, held at Eurexpo in Lyon, Hall 4-C62 from April 16 to 19, 2013. On display was the “newhorizon” resistance welding equipment, ML-7350C high-speed laser marker, as well as the new MG3 Hot Bar Monitoring system. Miyachi Peco’s newhorizon line of modular resistance welders allows users to choose from among 24 modular components of weld heads and weld pincers to configure the perfect solution for their application. With hundreds of possible configurations, users can run their applications while reducing maintenance, and doubling process flexibility when ordering and using the products. Also on display was Miyachi Unitek’s new 50 Watt ML-7350C Yb: fibre laser marker, designed for high speed laser marking, laser engraving, laser cutting, and laser ablation. The ML-7350C makes high contrast marks on both plastics and metals. 50W of power means the marker can provide distinct, fast, reliable and versatile markings of letters, numbers and graphics. The unit features low maintenance and investment requirements, minimising its overall ownership costs. The MG3 Hot Bar offers precise measurement of all bonding processes, allowing for continuous control throughout during the entire process cycle in real time. Combined with existing Miyachi Eapro hot bar products the new Miyachi Peco process monitoring device is an integral part of a unique system capable of measuring various parameters such as displacement, temperature and force in real time. The compact and flexible device features high quality hot bar connections and high throughput, all within an easily adjustable frame construction.
