100-ton overhead support

“It is a new record for Davi, and also a difficult challenge but, after the installation and tests, our 100 tons overhead support responded perfectly to the requirements of the customer, and is now holding his huge shells, day after day,” added Mr Davi.

DAVI has supplied what it claims to be the largest 4-roll in the world, to a customer who also required it to be equipped with the heaviest overhead support ever made – able to lift a record weight of 100 tons. Company president Orazio Davi compared the machine’s impressive capabilities with being able to lift “60 Mercedes ML, 100 Volkswagen Golf, or the incredible weight of an Airbus 330.”
