SPOTTI Sergio Coil Processing is an expert in the technology used in coil processing machines – cut to length lines, slitting lines, packing lines, rotary shears, high precision levelling heads and robots for automatic blade changing. Every year, about six million tons of coils are processed using Spotti Sergio Coil Processing machines – in steel, aluminium, copper and magnetic material. All machines are produced in house and the company’s main aim is to deliver high quality equipment globally. They believe if you are not able to control all steps of production, you will never be sure that all parts are made as originally designing. Spotti Sergio Coil Processing is family owned and is being successfully led by the second generation of the family – the founder’s son and daughter with the mother remaining president of the company. More than 50 employees work for Spotti Sergio Coil Processing, all of them specialists and with a training program designed by the company and inspired by market and employee demands. Following the dynamic growth of the past 20 years, the company makes up about 50 per cent export. The target of the company is to reach up to 80 per cent export. By understanding worldwide demands and analysing local market needs the company is able to create a useful machine that meets customer needs and creates and invests in new solutions. More than 500 customers globally use Spotti machines. They are based in many countries including Indonesia, Turkey, Germany and Kenya and the company prides itself on its aftersales service. Spotti Sergio Coil Processing has been active for 45 years and its machines are known to be highly flexible and adaptable. The company offers customised, individual solutions based on its customer’s specific requirements. It conducts intense discussions to find out what is important now and in the future. New demands should not mean interruptions, but merely modifications the company believes. Sales manager Loukas Karamousantas added: “A major advantage of the company strategy is the comprehensive in-house competences. We have a complete overview of all processes and corresponding quality control. Added to that, we have services like a 24-hour hotline and, because we want to solve problems quickly, we have a huge warehouse.”
