Dietronic Antirust system installed at Bulgarian tube mill has helped to reduce rust claims

a valuable solution for protecting steel tubes, pipes and profiles. The in-line

system ensures the product is properly dried prior to precise and accurate application of rust prevention oil on the surface of the pipe. During operation the Antirust constantly recycles, cleans and reuses the oil so that none is wasted. In addition the triple filter extraction unit ensures no risk to personnel and no contamination of the factory or environment. Minimal operator input thanks to a recipe system that stores oil settings for every profile giving 100 per cent repeatability of product quality. Dietronic designs and manufactures machines for corrosion protection and metal stamping applications. Intercom Group has been one of the leading metal trading and manufacturing organisations in Bulgaria for almost 25 years.

IN June 2021 Intercom Group Ltd, located in Bulgaria, took delivery of a Dietronic Antirust system for one of its tube mills located at its subsidiary, Megaprofil Ltd located in Ruse, Bulgaria. Since the successful commissioning of the unit in November that year it is happy to report no claims for corrosion from its customer base. Intercom Group chose Antirust to ensure total protection for its products during storage and transport to its customers. The added benefit of Antirust being a fully automatic system was a key decision factor. Project manager Kamen Nikolov said: “We needed a system that didn’t need regular supervision to ensure we were applying the correct amount of corrosion protection. The Antirust did this with many additional features.” Dietronic has now delivered close to 300 Antirust systems globally, making it
