The EMA 200 automatic hose cutting machine

THE new EMA 200 automatic hose cutting machine has been added to the Uniflex-Hydraulik GmbH machine range. It comes with numerous additional functions and its high precision operation can achieve up to 450 x 1,500mm long hoses or 1,000 x 200mm long hoses per hour. A spokesman said: “With the new development of the EMA 200 automatic hose cutting machine, we are increasing productivity. “All the user has to do is to set up the machine and they can cut hoses up to DN25 or one inch.” The cutting machine pre-bends hose lines and cuts them with an adjustable cutting knife. The result is a perfect, square cut at a high cutting speed. If requirements change, the machine can be converted to a different hose size in just minutes. To ensure safe operation, all relevant areas of the EMA 200 are protected against interference. The modern IPC control enables networking and auto- mated production. For special requirements, the EMA 200 can work with all Uniflex cutting knives: smooth TM, slotted TMG and coated TMC. Every smooth cutting knife can be re-sharpened up to the size: Ø330mm. The UATA 200 automatic unwinding table delivers the hose according to the quantity removed. The interactive feed control is visible in setup mode and reacts continuously to the movement – pulling or releasing – of the operator. It does not matter whether the supplied hose bundle turns clockwise or counterclockwise, the EMA 200 can work with both directions of rotation.
