The issues of training, employment and feminisation of industry remain central to reindustrialisation and its sustainability. Global Industrie will present a number of activities and facilities designed to “make industry attractive” for this young generation who will become the future talents of industry. GI Avenir and the Golden Tech, the competition for industrial excellence, will be the tools used to make jobs attractive and meet recruitment needs. More than 5,000 young people and job seekers are expected at this 2024 edition. Numerous discussion areas will provide opportunities for information, exchange and technological monitoring. The ‘big stage’ will address key industrial themes while the pitch areas will offer first-hand accounts and feedback.

Mr Dufourcq, CEO of Bpifrance and president of Global Industrie 2024, said: “We have never seen such an upsurge in industrial projects. That is why Global Industrie, of which I have agreed to be president, is important. It is the event where meetings that change the life of companies take place.” A showcase for French regions and know-how, the event will host 2,300 exhibitors, spread across 15 sectors, all of whom can be contacts to develop business and create new synergies with investors or suppliers in order to build industry. Demonstrations and experiments will be at the heart of the biggest factory in France with more than 1,500 machines that will allow visitors to understand cutting-edge innovations and industrial processes. The event hopes to respond to the multiple challenges facing industry (the environmental and ecological transition, recruitment, social and societal responsibility training, financing and Industry 5.0) to ensure that France remains a land of investment and innovation.
