Roll-Kraft installs new par ts washer ROLL-KRAFT products are manufac- tured and delivered worldwide to the tube and pipe and roll form industry, and the Roll-Kraft name is identified with roll products that work on delivery. Increasingly, customers also need to prolong the life of their tooling by sending it to Roll-Kraft to be reconditioned. To meet this need, Roll-Kraft has increased its capacity to jump-start the process

by adding an additional parts washer to clean the well-worn rolls and remove any residual oil and debris, in order to provide the best surface for reconditioning. The Better Engineering Model F-5000- LX-P-SS parts washer has been installed at the headquarters location in Mentor, Ohio, USA. This machine will clean 4-25 rolls per cycle, depending on roll sizes. It uses a specially formulated alkaline- based detergent, which is effective in removing grease and hard residues. The automatic dosing unit keeps the proper concentration of detergent to allow for consistent cleaning. In addition, it has a rinsing tank that keeps the rolls clean after the wash. The company expects this unit to increase efficiency in preparing incoming rolls for regrind. Roll-Kraft has its headquarters in Ohio and maintains other facilities in Illinois, Texas, USA, and Ontario, Canada.
