To thousands of tube producers, designers, engineers, suppliers and customers in dozens of countries Düsseldorf means one thing: the biennial International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair, the world’s biggest and best showcase for the tube and pipe industry and those serving it. The most renowned names in the industry worldwide are there in force. But some names will be encountered for the first time both here on the page and later in the exhibition hall. The organiser’s experience suggests that by the time the next edition of Tube is in preparation many of these companies will have joined the A-list. Those heading for Düsseldorf for Tube 2014 will meet new and old friends as well as strengthen their command of current industry practice and explore tomorrow’s methods today. For the first time this year visitors can also attend the Plastic Tube Forum in Hall 7.1, which will be a unique forum for manufacturers, traders and end users. The organisers hope it will be a useful meeting place for establishing business partnerships in this growing area of plastic tube production.
