Pickling tank and fume extraction
ANTICOR pickling tanks and plants are used for iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous pipes, wires and strips. The company can carry out planning and construction of complete pickling plants with fume exhaust systems. The robustly designed tanks are made from polypropylene (homopolymer) and fibre glass (FRP). For hydrochloric sulphuric and nitric/hydrofluoric acid
media, the pickling plants meet stringent environmental conditions. Environmentally friendly fume extraction avoids corrosion of steel construction cranes and roof structure. The tanks are welded with a state-of-the- art hot gas extrusion welding process and are stress relieved. PP tanks are available in flat pack modules (reduced volume),
with modules assembled and welded on-site for easy transportation. Heating and circulation systems are available, as well as corrosion-free passivation tanks. Arvind Anticor Ltd – India Fax: +91 79 2584 0958

Length and speed measuring of hot tubes
THE Doppler LMC-L Series from Loke Engineering offers higher accuracy, speed and lifetime and can perform up to 25,000 real measurements per second. All major interfaces are available and integrated in the sensor. In addition, it is also possible to log data and configure the sensor via a Bluetooth connection. A special stainless steel housing equip- ped with combined technologies of water and pressured air cooling ensures an optimum
laser lifetime in very hot environments. The housings also include a spring cushioned fine adjustment on all necessary axes in order to satisfy the installation alignment requirements, which guarantees the laser Doppler measuring accuracy. In February 2010, these unique features convinced the Spanish seamless tube manufacturer Tubos Reunidos Industrial, SLU to order the system for hot tube length measurement.
Loke Engineering is a specialist in contactless dimension and speed measurement with more than 10 years of experience. Its gauges can work up to 1380°C surface temperature. Loke Engineering GmbH & Co KG – Germany Fax: +49 6227 822044 Email: udo.kempf@loke.de Website: www.loke-engineering.com
