Planetary belt grinding-satining and universal pipe notcher machines

THE ART.79 planetary belt grinding-satining machine from Aceti Macchine, Italy, is able to grind-satin pipes, straight and bent bars with round, oval, elliptical and conical sections. It can work pipes from 10 to 100mm in diameter, and is used for quality finishing on several materials, especially on stainless steel. The machine uses

ART.79 is equipped with an electrical motor that operates the abrasive belts at two speeds, and a foot control to open the abrasive belts, facilitating the insertion of the workpiece. Options include a speed variator for the abrasive belts, and automatic advancing for straight pipes. Aceti’s ART.130 universal pipe notcher machine can be used to notch on the head and on the flank of pipe. By the easy rotation of the machine, hinged on a rugged base, it can pass from a horizontal position suitable for head notching, to a vertical position suitable for flank notching. ART.130 can work pipes of round, square and rectangular section with diameter from 20 to 145mm. The machine allows the working of pipes of different diameter by the easy replacing of the contact rollers. The notching angle is adjustable from 30° to 90°, and it is possible to effect right and left notches without rotating the pipe in the clamp.

The machine can be also used for grinding on a horizontal plane where there is a worktable with width of 150mm and length of 400mm. The machine mounts an abrasive belt of 150 x 2,000mm. The 5kW motor is equipped with double speed (1,400-2,800rpm) allowing it to work stainless steel and aluminium. The electrical control board is equipped with an emergency button with electronic brake motor that allows the machine to be stopped in a few seconds.
