Linsinger Maschinenbau Austria Hall 7A Stand E05 LINSINGER, Austria, is presenting its new Linsinger multi-cut sawing technology. It features two parting-off blades, which enter simultaneously into the tube. Long chips with typical burr formation emerge and it is important to consider irregular and warped tubes. There are also several tool inserts that move orbitally around the tube. Depending upon diameter and wall thickness there are several milling tolls in action. Users have good controllable short chips and defensible burrs. The multicut saw is fitted with two to four axle-controlled sawing stations working independently. Sawing of the tube is started simultaneously at several positions and segments are finally cut along its circumference. It uses small-coated one- way-saw blades with a high number of cutting teeth. Therefore small chips with fewer burrs emerge. Previous developments in sawing technology saw a changeover from segment saw blades to carbide circular saw blades, but since then Linsinger has developed the next technological breakthrough and states
