Brandon Fan, general manager, Forever Machinery

n Can you tell us a bit about the history of your company since it was first established. Headquartered in China, Forever Machinery is one of the market leaders when it comes to ERW tube mill designers and manufacturers. With more than 30 years of experience – and with our unique expertise in roll form engineering – we aim to deliver reliable equipment and outstanding services to reduce downtimes, boost productivity and harness new potential for our customers throughout their entire manufacturing lifecycle. Unlike many other companies in China, the owner and founder of the company is a mechanical engineer who has devoted his entire career in designing and optimising ERW tube mill. He is one of the earliest and most respected modern day tube mill and roll form engineers in China. For the past three decades, Forever Machinery has always placed innovating and optimising roll forming process at the

core of the business, developing new configuration and new technology to be implemented in tube mill lines to meet the ever-changing requirements of tube and cold-rolled profile manufacturers. Owing to these modernisation measures and continuous innovation, Forever Machinery has earned many loyal customers and supplied more than 1,000 ERW tube mills lines to the market, consolidating and expanding the influence of the roll form industry. n Can you tell us a bit about your role at the company. What are the most satisfying aspects of working in your current role? Being the general manager and the successor of the company ownership at the same time, I not only need to guide our team to the right path to achieve our long-term strategic goals, but also need to engage actively in expanding our market and driving sales.

I studied mechanical engineering in the University of New South Wales in Australia and came back to China to join Forever after working several years in Sydney, Australia. Inspired by my father, I am devoted to making Forever Machinery’s brand shine on the international stage. Therefore, the most satisfying aspects of working in my current role is to get to travel to all parts of the world to visit potential clients to promote our brand, to attend exhibitions around the globe to expand our presence and to meet and talk to everyone in the industry. I enjoy exploring how we are able to best assist our existing and potential customers to make their future investment more rewarding, or to optimise their existing production to improve productivity and level of automation.
