Sikora chosen by FAZ-Institut as one of Germany’s innovation leaders 2022

knowledge areas. Not only the number of patents filed in the last ten years are evaluated, but also their relevance. In this way, index points were given for the companies analysed. These take into account whether the invention influences other inventions and how often a patent cites another patent family. The less often this is the case, the more innovative the patent is perceived. Sikora received the award in the category “Measuring, Testing”. Every year, Sikora invests around 10 per cent of its turnover in research and development of new measuring and control technology as well as inspection, analysis and sorting systems for quality control during the production of wires and cables, hoses, tubes, pipes and sheets, optical fibres or plastics.
