The all-in-one machine is character- ised by its cost-effectiveness, efficiency and process reliability. A further advan- tage is the compact design and result- ing small space requirement. With the modular machines, high quantities can be produced precisely within a short cycle time. The Wolf TSM280 is based on the ro- tary transfer concept and was developed for medium and large series as well as for a number of different products and parts families. Maximum flexibility en- ables part production with low set-up ef- fort and cost. The focus is on efficiency and precision in the post-processing, or finishing, of extruded and turned parts as well as the complete production of parts made of tube or full material. Adaptable units include drill and lathe spindles, threaded units, plunge-cut units, milling units, cross-bore units, embossing and pressing units, measuring and test equipment and special-purpose units. The WolfCMD, a digital centring device, combines optimal measuring with highly precise alignment. It is an alternative to analogue, error-prone measuring with a dial gauge. Originally developed for a specific customer requirement, the device now supports various customers in the alignment of axes. The WolfCMD enables process- reliable, high-precision measurement without parallax error and with max- imum speed. All measured values are graphically prepared and documented.
