the tube and pipe industry. During 2024 I noticed a surge in interest in automation as companies looked to fill skills gaps and improve safety in their working environments. On page 25 of TPT, Violi Macchine discusses its automatic tube feeding innovations; and on pages 28 and 40 of our cutting feature you can read about automatic cleaning of laser nozzles from Nukon Lasers UK; and automated storage solutions from KASTO. This time of year sees the return of the first major trade events: Tube India; Global Industrie 2025 in France; and Valve World 2024 in Germany. The March issue will also be winging its way to a number of important trade shows, such as Lamiera 2025 and Made in Steel 2025 in Italy; and Tube Eurasia 2025 in Turkey. In the next issue we have features on tube inspection, testing & quality control and advances in measuring & marking. The Tube Products INTERNATIONAL focus is on steel & stainless steel pipes and fittings, valves, flanges & connectors.
