CUTTING TECHNOLOGY, SAWING & SAW BLADES

sheets, profiles, cable channels, roller shutter tubes and similar materials. The wall thickness is only 1 to 1.5mm and diameters range from 137 to 255mm. A special ultra-hot heat treatment and soldering process allow for this design. These ultra-thin and impact-resistant saw blades are efficient when it comes to energy usage, which is crucial for any battery powered tool. The saw blades are 100 per cent compatible with circular saws from Bosch, Metabo, Milwaukee, Makita, AEG, Panasonic and more, opening up possibilities for metal machining with these machines. Specifically designed for the food and construction sectors, Jepson Power’s exclusive saw blades feature a special coating that makes them ideal for cutting stainless steel in these industries. Compared to standard saw blades, they offer lower cutting costs and a service life that is up to three times longer. The coating on our NSF saw blades consists of an aluminium-titanium-chromium nitride layer, which provides excellent performance when cutting materials that tend to stick. This silver-coloured layer is known for its high hardness and oxidation resistance. Additionally, the NSF saw blade is designed to minimise adhesion when working with Al alloys and non-ferrous metals. Thanks to the ample use of carbide on the blade teeth, Jepson Power’s Drytech ® TCT saw blades can be

SINCE it was founded in 1984, Jepson Power has been dedicated to developing innovative cutting solutions. The company is the inventors of Dry-Cut technology for cutting materials such as steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and composites. This technology allows cutting without cooling, with shorter cutting cycles, minimal burrs and longer blade life. The elimination of lubricants and coolant offers both ecological and economic advantages. On one hand, no harmful chemicals are released into the environment, and on the other hand, there are no costs associated with purchasing and disposing of these products, as well as cleaning the workpieces after cutting. Thanks to the clean cut, even deburring is mostly unnecessary. With many years experience and a dynamic research and development department located in Germany, Jepson Power is able to provide tailored solutions, including saw blades with special surface treatments for cutting various types of stainless steel. As a major company in high-speed carbide saw blades, and one of the leading providers of portable power tools, it is always aiming to develop more advanced products that meet the highest quality standards. Jepson Power has developed a range of DryTech ® saw blades with carbide teeth for fast and burr-free cutting of metal pipes and profiles without coolant on stationary semi-automatic and fully automatic high-speed machines, as well as portable sawing machines. It can be used for processing steel, stainless steel, plastic, composites, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. The range includes saw blades starting from 0.5mm thickness and with diameters ranging from 137 to 730mm, but special sizes are also available upon request. The high cutting speed significantly reduces cycle times and saves material through thin-wall cutting technology. The geometry of the carbide teeth is adapted to the material being cut. The special tooth shape ensures a perfect cut and a long blade life. This extremely thin saw blade is ideal for cutting metal grids, trapezoidal

resharpened up to five times, for the largest blades even up to ten times. This restores the blades optimal cutting performance while extending its lifespan. Consequently, this diminishes the need for blade replacements, saving costs. The throw-away TCT saw blades are specifically designed for mass cutting of solid bars and pipes. With a special hook and clearance angle, these blades ensure precise and cost effective cutting of automobile parts and forged materials. They are suitable for various applications including mild steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron and non-ferrous steel. Additionally, all saw blades are available in both blank and coated versions, providing versatility and options for different cutting needs.
