The project takes place at the new SSSC plant in the industrial zone of Nhon Phu, Dong Nai Province, 70km from Ho Chi Minh City, and was awarded during the ceremony for the 17 th anniversary of SSSC’s foundation. The project will be completed in 26 months and is composed of a galvanising line using cold rolled low carbon steel as feedstock to produce 150,000t/yr of aluminium-zinc or zinc coated carbon coils; and a colour coating line using galvanised products or cold rolled steel to produce 70,000t/yr of colour coated coils.
