With additional equipment, the marking text can also be transferred via an RS 232 interface directly into the FlyMarker ® (eg from a computer or barcode reader). Character height can be set between 2mm and 9.9mm (in increments of 0.1mm), within a marking area of 75mm x 25mm, and a depth of up to 0.3mm (depending on material type). In addition to user-specified text, the unit can create sequential numbering marks, real time and date stamps, and can store up to three different logos. The FlyMarker ® is available in three versions: Mobile (battery-powered), Station (mains-powered), and Combi (battery and mains).

Büker Rohrtechnik GmbH, Germany, is a manufacturer of pressure test equipment, including the Hydroplug system for pressure tests up to 550 bar. The company has developed new stoppers for applications where safety and efficiency have priority. The new Flangestoppers BAF (models DN50-DN125) are used for conducting pressure tests on flange connections. The devices are available for pressure steps up to 80 bar, and are designed for ease of use, featuring a setting time of only seconds. The stoppers offer both efficiency and a high degree of safety. With all models in the range, a pressure plate can be tightened to increase pressure. Removing stoppers during a pressure test is impossible, but after release of the pressure, the equipment can easily be removed. Permanent marking with CNC hand-held pinmarker

German manufacturer Markator has launched a new compact hand-held pinmarker, branded FlyMarker ® . The device features integrated controls, keyboard and display, and is suitable for flexible, permanent marking on a wide range of materials from plastic and aluminium to hardened steel. An electromagnetically driven carbide pin marks clearly structured figures, letters, special signs and logos in dot matrix. The high-speed pin marking works at a minimum noise level, and is unaffected by uneven surfaces or contours. The user-friendly unit is delivered pre-adjusted and ready for use, and only minimal training is required. Text only needs to be entered once for multiple markings, and remains until it is overwritten with new text. If the entered text is too long, it is automatically compressed.
