The Vario Puls Memory-VPM machine features additional parameter-monitoring, presetting and parameter storage. Parameters for six different materials, six gases and five wire-diameters can be automatically selected through pre- programmed curves. D+L Technik also produces the Connexx FP stepless fix-pulse range. Featuring stepless adjustment of welding voltage and pulse voltage, and a power range from 30 to 320 Amps, the application range of the series covers thick to thin materials, and includes manual aluminium and MIG- brazing. The power source combines the welding characteristics from the stepped machines with the controllability of the digital Vario Puls series. Four pre-programmed pulse frequencies can be used to modulate the welding current from 25Hz to 150Hz, enabling a short-arc modulation for aluminium welding.

All in one: pulse, synergic, short arc and MIG-brazing

D+L Germany, manufactures a range of MIG/MAG- pulse welding machines. The company’s Connexx-Vario Puls series is based on a digitally controlled chopper power source, and is fully synergic-controlled through certified, pre-programmed pulse welding parameters. This range includes the capacity to weld from thick to thin, in steel, stainless steel and aluminium. A special low temperature MIG-brazing program is included for galvanised metals. Pulse welding, synergic welding, normal short arc welding and MIG-brazing are incorporated into one machine. Advantages of the range include power control through direct remote control, 2- and 4-cycle-mode, a special hot start 4-cycle-mode for aluminium, and wire unreel protection through arc ignition identification. Approximately 60 different standard characteristic curves are available for most material/gas combinations, including Technik GmbH,
