Increasingly, more interesting applications with small-lot productions – where other joining methods often reach their technical limits – are being processed with attainable welding depths of up to a maximum of 12mm. The obvious advantage of laser welding is that it can be optimally used at increasing levels with tube and thimble products. This results in lower warping and adaptability with various flanges or rings, thus ensuring high strength and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, it reduces expensive mechanical treatments, resulting in lower production costs and higher product quality. PS Laser also provide oxide-free laser cutting for stainless steel up to a thickness of 40mm, high-speed laser cutting for thin metal sheeting, mild steel cutting for thicknesses up to 25mm, all in dimensions of up to 6,000mm length.
