Air valves from Val-Matic

Air valves perform two important functions in a piping sys- tem: they maintain system design efficiency, and provide system protection. Val-Matic has developed a comprehen- sive line of water and wastewater air valves with these two functions in mind. From the smallest lever air-release valve to the largest surge-suppression combination air valve, all are provided as standard with Type 316 stainless steel trim and floats ranging in sizes from ½" to 42". Type 316 stainless steel is suited to applications where added corrosion resistance is required, such as for chlorides and acids. The corrosion resistance and material strength of the steel can also improve the functional lifespan of the valve. Val-Matic’s complete line of air valves is certified to multiple industry certifications, and is manufactured under a certified ISO 9001 quality system. A video titled ‘Air Today, Gone Tomorrow’, available on Val-Matic’s website and YouTube page, demonstrates the importance of using air valves in water and wastewater pipelines.
