Butterfly valve for commercial applications Asahi/America has introduced the Type- 57AT butterfly valve for commercial applications. The Type-57AT meets the pressure and temperature guidelines in ASTM F2389 for up to 12" and integrates seamlessly into Asahitec™ PP-RCT piping systems for plumbing and HVAC applications.

F07 – F14 bolt circle, and all sizes can be electrically or pneumatically actuated. Asahitec includes both moulded socket fusion fittings (20 to 125mm) and moulded butt fusion fittings (160 to 315mm), as well as moulded large diameter fittings up to 630mm. Asahitec is NSF 14-pw certified for potable water applications, and features lead- free brass adapter fittings. The range is complemented by Asahi/America’s welding equipment fleet and valve product line.

The Type-57AT’s polypropylene body and disc are injection moulded for durability, and the 316 stainless steel stem is non-wetted. For high cycle life and smooth torque, the seat and disc bushings are fitted with dual O-ring seals.The valve is available in both wafer and lugged styles, in sizes 1½" to 8" with a green lever, and in 1½" to 14"
